2014 ERIN & STUART 44.jpg

We love it when a couple has a distinct sense of their own style and so when Erin & Stuart came to us knowing that they wanted a day infused with details that captured exactly what they were about we were excited to jump on board and help them bring to life their vision.

These guys love travel and so we took our inspiration from the history steeped venue and vintage maps using a palette of walnut brown, caramel and pretty pastels. Vintage globes, suitcases, books, paper planes and map details featured throughout creating a setting that combined old-school elegance with whimsy.

A ceremony venue like St. Matthews in the City really doesn't require too much fluff. We added some signature floral arrangements, a hand written welcome board and worked with the caterers to design a bar area for drinks following the ceremony. Erin and her gals carried hand tied posies with pretty trailing ribbon.

Any event in the Grand Foyer of the Museum is always a little challenging in that it only closes to the public at 5pm but we thrive on a challenge. Our team together with the Museum and Catering staff completely transformed the space in under 90 minutes. Furniture, linens, florals, stationery, lighting, candy bar, cake - each detail was carefully curated by our styling team.
